Product Introduction
The HYQ-500 DTM Polyester-Composite Polymer Waterproofing Membrane is a polymer waterproofing membrane produced via a single-pass extrusion process. It utilizes Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA) or Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) as its core material, with non-woven fabrics specially bonded to both its upper and lower surfaces using a proprietary technique. During installation, a specialized adhesive is employed to bond the membrane seamlessly with the substrate, forming a tight, cohesive waterproofing layer that achieves a flawless waterproofing effect. The product complies with the requirements for the FS2 classification specified in standard Q/3208290X001-2019, *HYQ-T Polymer Waterproofing Membranes*, or standard GB/T 18173.1-2012, *Polymer Waterproofing Materials—Part 1: Sheets*.

Features:
Featuring double-sided fabric lamination, it achieves full adhesion simultaneously with both the substrate and the upper structure; the adhesion rate exceeds 95%, effectively preventing water channeling.
The non-woven fabric bonds with the cementitious adhesive to form an interlocking mesh structure, resulting in high bonding strength.
It exhibits exceptional tensile properties, with a breaking elongation exceeding 600%—20 times that of asphalt-based membranes.
The material is lightweight—weighing only one-eighth as much as asphalt-based waterproofing membranes—facilitating ease of transport and installation.
Installation can proceed even in the presence of surface dampness (provided there is no standing water), thereby saving construction time.
It possesses high composite strength, allowing for the direct application of surface finishes or the tiling of decorative ceramics.

Scope of Application:
It is primarily used for waterproofing projects on roofs, underground structures, interiors, balconies, and similar areas. Additionally, it can be applied to waterproofing works for integrated utility tunnels, subway tunnels, reservoir dams, water tanks and swimming pools, cofferdams, irrigation canals, landfills, and sewage treatment plants.

**Construction Methods and Procedures**
Substrate cleaning → Substrate wetting (skip this step if the substrate is already wet) → Positioning and line marking → Preparation of cementitious adhesive → Reinforcement of critical joints/details → Membrane installation → Squeezing out slurry and expelling air; setting time → Sealing of lap joints → Sealing of membrane terminations → Inspection and acceptance.

**Storage and Transportation**
During storage and transportation, products of different types and specifications must be stacked separately and not intermixed. Protect the materials from direct sunlight and rain, and ensure adequate ventilation. Storage temperatures must not exceed 45°C. When stored horizontally, the stacking height shall not exceed five layers; when stored vertically, they must be stacked in a single layer. Contact with acids, alkalis, oils, organic solvents, and similar substances is strictly prohibited. During transportation, prevent tilting or lateral compression; cover with a tarpaulin if necessary.
